IPR International Nominated One of Philadelphia’s
Fastest Growing Companies for Four Years in a Row
Philadelphia, PA, February 22, 2008 – For the fourth
consecutive year, Conshohocken based IPR International has been nominated
as one the “Fastest Growing Companies” in the Philadelphia Region. The
Philadelphia 100® is an annual program conducted by the Entrepreneurs'
Forum of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia Business Journal and Wharton
Small Business Development Center. The 2008 Philadelphia 100® marks the
20th anniversary of this event. This honor comes on the heels of IPR being
recognized by Inc Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately
held companies in America!
Founded in 2002, IPR specializes in the development and deployment of
data protection and data recovery services. Partnering with companies like
EMC, CA, Data Domain, NetApp and others, IPR takes a best-of-breed approach
for each client, designing unique solutions to meet or exceed the clients’
Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
IPR recently announced the opening of their first Disaster Recovery Center,
near Reading, PA. This facility gives IPR the distinction of being one
of the few Managed Service Providers in the country to also offer full
Disaster Recovery services to their clients. IPR’s unique approach to DR,
where each client is afforded a dedicated recovery environment as compared
to the typical, more traditional shared environment put emphasis on speed
to recovery, not just the basic ability to recover.
Currently protecting client data in 17 countries around the world, IPR
manages hundreds of terabytes of storage through a service offering that
includes high availability for immediate failover, replication, disk-to-disk
backup and a suite of archiving solutions for email, images and files systems.
“We are extremely honored to be so recognized by the business leaders and
press community of our region,” said Mike Emmi, Chairman and CEO of IPR
International. “We are, once again, truly gratified to be among the nominees
of so many wonderful organizations in this region.”
