Hay Group Signs Backup and Archiving Deal with IPR International

Conshohocken, PA – May 18, 2006 – IPR International, a leader in data protection and recovery, today announced that Hay Group, a global organizational and human resources consulting firm, has signed a multi-year deal for backup and archiving services using IPR’s DataGuardian On Demand, DataGuardian Rapid Recovery and OptiGuard offerings.  The agreement enables Hay Group to implement state-of-the-art Information Life Cycle Management (ILM) strategy for storage management, short-term back-up and recovery, as well as long-term archiving for its global information assets.

“Hay Group has a  complex distributed computing environment and, like most other large organizations, has see huge data growth at the same time as having more regulations with which to comply.” said Bob Butler, CIO of Hay Group.  “IPR provides us with a scalable, automated solution that will adapt to our data growth and evolving storage requirements. At the same time, by eliminating human intervention in the back-up process the corporate staff based in Philadelphia have peace of mind that data housed in other cities is protected and recoverable.”

Under the agreement, IPR will provide Hay Group with backup and archiving services for the company’s file and print servers at 14 U.S. offices and the U.S. corporate operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Hay’s IT staff is responsible for overseeing an international IT structure for the services-based organization.  Using IPR eliminates daily administration of backup and the recovery of files, folders and servers so that staff is freed up to focus on deploying technology that helps the business grow.

“We are pleased to have Hay Group join our growing roster of global clients,” said Michael Emmi, Chairman and CEO of IPR International.  “As one of the world’s leading HR consulting firms, Hay Group’s selection of IPR demonstrates the power of outsourcing data backup and archiving.  We look forward to serving Hay Group.”
